Scopolamine MOA
Competitive antagonist at muscarinic receptors. Acts on smooth muscle that used acetylcholine but lacks cholinergic receptors. Blocks cholinergic transmission to higher CNS and vomiting centers. Inhibits saliva, sweat, GI secretions and motility

Scopolamine contraindications
Angle closure glaucoma, obstructive uropathy, GI disease
Scopolamine caution
Driving motor vehicle, elderly, glaucoma, alcohol
