not well described, sympathomimetics, increase in NE and DA in brain by blocking reuptake
Stimulants warnings
CV sudden death, MI, psychosis, growth suppression, peripheral vasculopathy
Stimulant contraindications
MAOI, anxiety and agitation

insomnia, decreased appetite, Weight los, HTN, arrhythmia, anxiety, panic, agitation
Atomoxetine
Selective NE reuptake inhibitor
Atomoxetine warnings
suicide, CV events, increased BP and HR, liver injury, psychosis, urinary retention
Atomoxetine ADR
Peds: NV, decreased appetite, fatigue, somnolence
Adult: constipation, dry mouth, nausea, fatigue, decreased appetite, insomnia, erectile dysfunction, urinary hesitation/retention, dysuria, dysmenorrhea, flushing
Atomoxetine interactions
2d6 inhibitors, MAOIs, albuterol
anitdepressants
bupropion, desipramine
Antihypertensives
Guanfacine, Clonidine
