Mechanism of action Thiazide/Thiazide-like (indapamide)

A

in the early distal tubules, the sodium-chloride symport in the luminal membrane is blocked by thiazide or thiazide-like drugs.
therefore, more sodium gets generated in the filtering that moves into the the collecting ducts and distal tubules.
