borders:
laterally- vastus medialis m.

ventrally- vastoadductor membrane

-femoral A - (og desc, genicular branch)
-femoral V
-femoral N (og infrapatellar branch)
Adductor hiatus
-distal end of adductor canal
(add.canal cont. in popliteal fossa
-pierces adductor magnus
-contents: popliteal A + V (cont. of femoral A+V)
Obturator canal
borders: inf. margin sup ramus pubic bone + obt.membrane

-obturator n (from lumbar plx)

Deep structures of anterior crural region
a) muscles
b) ant. tibial a+v (from popliteal a+v)
(milli tibialis anterior og ext. hallucis longus)
c) Deep fibular nerve (from common fibular N)
(milli tibialis anterior og ext hallucis longus)
d) ant. tibial A–> medial+lateral malleolar aa. (ankle)
e)spf fibular n (from common fibular N)
(under fibular mm, og í distal 1/3 leg it pierces fascia and runs under skin to dorsum pedis)
