What is a open skill?
An environment that always changes involving decision making that is extremely paced
What is a closed skill?
A stabled environment that the skill is habitual mainly self paced e.g penalty kick
What is a basic skill?
Little information to process and few decisions are made used in many sports
What is a complex skill?
Lots of information to process and decisions are need to be made quickly used in specific sports
What is a low skill?
Uncomplicated and simple involving subroutines that are are usually discrete
What are high skills?
Complex and require large amount of attention
What are massed practice?
Skills that are repeated continously with little rest
What are distributed practice?
Skills that are practised in a number of short sessions
What are fixed practices?
Skills repeated in a stable environment becomes habitual
What are variable practices?
Environment changes decisions are made quickly
What is visual guidance?
Skills that are broken down to highlight techincal stages helps the learner visualise
What is verbal guidance?
Provided during a performance and ideal for open skill used in conjuction with other form of guidance
What is manual guidance.
Movement that is not practical used for learners of all abilities gain a kinaesthetic
What is a mechanical guidance?
Provides help of performance of movement
What is intrinsic feedback?
When the oerformer will know something is right or wrong
