smooth, discrete lump
sudden pain, cyclic pain (often before menstruation- oestrogen)
incidental at screening

FNA (can also be used to drain fluid)

exclude malignancy
excise if necessary

what is a hamartoma?
A
circumscribed lesion composed of normal cell types but present in abnormal distribution or proportion
