BC operating at a 2 story PD fire at 0645 hours. BC is notified by civilian that a FF just stole an I-Pad and placed it in the apparatus. The BC should do the following

1) BC orders search of private dwelling
2) If I-Pad is not found notify the IG’s on call supervisor by calling FDOC by cell phone from the scene as soon as conditions permit
