What is Ankylosing spondylitis?
A
inflammatory (but RF negative) lower back pain which improves with exercise and is worsened by immobility (sitting/laying still). X-rays of the sacroiliac joint would help confirm the diagnosis by showing ankylosis (joint fusion) characteristic of this disorder.
