A

A

Acute onset of illness with skin or mucosal signs and symptoms AND at least one of the following:
* Sudden respiratory signs and symptoms
* Sudden systolic BP less than 90 mmHg or symptoms of end-organ dysfunction and/or poor perfusion

OR likely or known exposure with two or more of the following:
* Sudden skin or mucosal signs and symptoms
* Persistent gastrointestinal symptoms
* Sudden respiratory signs and symptoms
* Sudden systolic BP less than 90 mmHg or symptoms of end-organ dysfunction and/or poor perfusion.

A

A non-IgE mediated reaction that is clinically indistinguishable from anaphylaxis in the prehospital setting

Should be treated identically to anaphylaxis.
