Each unit, section, or division requesting special order supply type items, not typically

Members are required to notify the Sheriff if they are arrested or cited for a criminal

Members who have been served with an injunction for protection shall immediately
notify their commanding officer and provide him with a copy of the injunction. Upon
receiving this notification, the member’s commanding officer shall:
(1) Immediately notify the Commanding Officer of Internal Affairs and provide him with
a copy of the injunction; and
(2) Ensure the member adheres to all requirements established in the injunction.
Members who have been served with civil process related to the performance of any
official duties shall immediately notify their commanding officer and provide him with a
copy of the process. Upon receiving this notification, the member’s commanding officer
shall:
(1) Immediately deliver a copy of the process to the Office of General Counsel (OGC);
and
(2) Notify the Undersheriff via chain of command.
Members intending to file a lawsuit for damages suffered while performing their official
duties shall:
