what are the major principals of xrays?

A

xray pass thorugh the body and calcium as a dense ion causes a shaddow

Density differences- many shade of grey

Summation of shadows- images are created by multiple overlapping tissue densities

silhoette sign- edges of objects are seen if there is an interface with a different density of tissue

A

images used to give more information that a traditional xray
