Looking for pop out stimulus. Very easy. Attend to motion or colour

When attending to motion there is higher activation of the V5/hMT+ (important to process motion)
When attending to colour, higher activation in the V4 area (important for colour processing)

Task difficulty
A
Easy ; late selection. V5/hMT+ is active if irrelevant motion is shown.
Difficult ; early selection. V5/hMT+ is inactive if irrelevant motion is shown.

A
FFA is more active than the PPA with solely face search. Vice versa with solely house search. If passive viewing; averagely activated.
