1.5.8 Coordinating with Consultants

Theshould assume responsibility for overall coordination of the specifications. Information regarding the type of project, contract, , general conditions, and especiallyrequirements should be made available to consultants prior to their preparing any sections. Input from them forsections should be requested at the same time. In this manner the consultants can avoid writing separatefor their disciplines, reducing the likelihood of conflicting requirements.
