• Administer O2 to keep SPO2 above 94%
• Full patient assessment
• Call for paramedic intercept if needed
• Sit patient upright, with head between 30 and 90 degrees
• Assist with patients nitro with systolic BP above 140 mmHg
• Consider cardiac monitoring and 12-lead if available
• Establish IV access, limit fluids but have them ready because…. *If patient complains of chest pain/pressure/discomfort, administer nitro with systolic BP above 100
• Consider CPAP, starting at a PEEP of 5cmH2O and a FiO2 of 32% (Max PEEP of 10)
• Transport to the closest appropriate facility
• Check BGL while en route
