Mechanism of Action
During cardiac arrest it shunts blood flow to the vital organs.

Indications:
V-Fib, pulseless VT, asystole and PEA.

Contraindications:
None during cardiac arrest.

Precautions:
Can be deactivated by exposure to sunlight.

Side Effects:
No side effects during cardiac arrest. Resuscitated patients may experience palpitations, tachycardia, anxiety, headache and dizziness.

Dosage:
1mg IV/IO every 3-5 minutes during cardiac arrest.
