Mechanism of Action:
In its natural form its a hormone produced in the pancreas. It inhibits the storage of more glycogen.

Indications:
Significant hypoglycemia with no IV access.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity.

Precautions:
If the patient has already depleted their glycogen stores, glucagon will not be effective.

Hypotension, dizziness, headache, N/V.
