Acetaminophen produces

Antipyresis (relieving or reducing fever)

Indications:
Fever above 101.5 F

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, administration of acetaminophen in the past 4 hours.

Precautions:
Max recommended daily dose is 3,000mg, be careful as other medications have acetaminophen in them.

Side Effects:
No acute side effects in normal dosages,
prolonged use or overdose can cause liver toxicity, failure and death.
