What does the Bistable Test Switch do?

A
  • Placing switch in “Test” or up position removes power from associated input relay and gives SSPS a trip signal**
  • Trip signal will be to both trains of SSPS
  • Used to place bi-stable in “Trip” (if it fails in its non trip direction)

What does the RPS Bypass Switch do (Keyed Switch)?

A
  • If switch is in bypass, you never get a trip signal ***
  • Puts power to logic bay regardless of input, allowing you to test the input drawer (using bistable test switch) without chance of causing an actuation.

  • Permissive switch out of OFF

  • Grounded return fuse blown
  • Loss of CRID power from 1 CRID
