What are some disadvantages of commercialisation
Product promotion by sucessful sportspeople can make people want products they can’t afford
Sponsors may demand things are done a certain way/where events are put on,this may exclude some people.
Audience may find enjoyment of sport interrupted or spoiled
Seat prices may be too expensive
What is gamesmanship
Bending the rules/laws of a sport without actually breaking them
What is sportsmanship
Qualities of fairness,following the rules and being gracious in victory and defeat
What is deviance
Behaviour that falls outside the norms or what is thought to be acceptable
What is positive deviance
Deviance where there is no intention to cause harm or break the rules
What is negative deviance
Deviance that has a detrimental effect and is intended to break the rules
