What is muscular strength?
Amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
E.g Rugby players need muscular strength to push against opponents in the scrum
What is flexability?
Range of motion of your joints
E.g People that do gymnastics need to be very flexible to pull of certain moves
What is cardiovascular fitness?
Ability to exercise the whole body for long periods of time.
E.g long distance runners
What is muscular endurance?
Ability to use voluntary muscles repeatedly without getting tired.
E.g tennis players continously use the fore arms for long periods of time
What is body composition?
Percentage of body weight that is muscle,fat or bone.
E.g runners need less muscle,fat and size and more light.
What is the function of our muscular-skeletal system?
