approx 5% of GI bleeding comes from small bowel

what causes it
A
abnormal blood vessels in walls of small bowel (AVMs)
other causes include benign and malignant tumours, polyps, crohns and ulcers

A
anaemia (tiredness and SOB)
blood in stool - black and tarry
