Pralidoxime Chloride Action
Reactivates cholinesterase in cases of organophosphate poisoning, causing a decrease in acetylcholine and its parasympathetic effects; deactivates certain chemical organophosphates or nerve agents through a direct chemical reaction
Pralidoxime Chloride Indications
Organophosphate and nerve agent poisoning; used in conjunction with atropine

Tachycardia, Hypertension, Blurred Vision, headache, nausea, Muscle weakness

1-2 g in 250/500 mL NaCl over 30 min

20-40 mg/kg in 250/500 mL NaCL over 30 min
