what is vijnana-maya-kosha
the higher functions of the mind - discernment and wisdom. tends towards clarity and lucidity based on sattva
what is ananda-maya-kosha
the bliss body associated with the correct identification with pure consciousness
What does the term prana refer to?
most commonly used to describe the vital source (energy) in its totality. However, it also refers to how we take energy in, most importantly through breath
What are the nadis?
they are the energy channels that allow the free flow of pranas
What is the purpose of hatha yoga in relation to the nadis?
To unblock the pathways and stimulating the free flow of prana through the nadis
