What does the O in Oldcarts mean?
Onset (Asking what the problem is)
What does the L in Oldcarts mean?
Location (Asking where does it hurt and does it move areas)
What does the D in Oldcarts mean?
Duration (Asking how long the issue has been occurring)
What does the C in Oldcarts mean?
Characteristics (Asking them to describe the pain as accurately as possible)
What does the A in Oldcarts mean?
Aggravating Factors (Asking what makes the issue worse)
What does the R in Oldcarts mean?
Relieving Factors (Asking what makes the issue better)
What does the T in Oldcarts mean?
Timing (Is it worse or better a certain time of day or before or after a certain activity)
What does the S in Oldcarts mean?
Severity (Asking them how severe there pain is)
What does the I in Icee mean?
Ideas (Ask the patient if they have any ideas as to what’s wrong with them)
What does the C in Icee mean?
Concerns (Ask what the patients concerns are)
What does the first E in Icee mean?
Expectations (Ask what the patient expects to happen)
What does the second E in Icee mean?
Effect (Ask them how this effects their life)
