Produced by strains of bacterium Staphylcoccus aureus
Toxic shock syndrome (TSS)
Placenta separates prematurely

Fertilized egg implants anywhere other than normal uterine location
Ectopic pregnancy
Malignant tumor of pregnant uterus
Choriocarcinoma
High BP, proteinuria, edema during pregnancy or shortly thereafter
Preeclampsia
Placenta is so implanted in uterus that it obstructs cervical opening
Placenta previa
Cancer common in woman ages 40-49, with STDs, detected by Pap smear
Cervical cancer
30%-40% of all woman develop benign fibroid tumors of uterus
Uterine cancer
Most common cancer in woman. Treatment includes mastectomy and radiation
Breast cancer
6 STDs
Chlamydia, Trichomonas, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes type II, HIV infection
