WHat are the three types of both Opertional and depot level maintainance?

- Corrective Maintenance (CM). CM is a maintenance task designed to restore equipment after a failure has occurred. If resources and authority exists, CM will be performed at the O-Level.
- Preventive Maintenance. Preventive maintenance will outline minimum maintenance requirements and procedures for HM&E; damage control equipment; electronic and ordnance equipment; and rescue and survival equipment aboard cutters and boats.
- Alterative Maintenance. Alterative maintenance will be used to improve system performance

What are the three funding codes used for boat maintenance?

Boat Financial Program. Funding for boat operation falls under AFC-30, AFC-42, and AFC-45. AFC-30 provides for fuel, outfit replenishment, maintenance, engine overhaul, annual availabilities, Engineering Change/ TCTO, boat replacement, and boat allowance changes. AFC-42 provides for electronic equipment maintenance. AFC-45 funds casualty repairs resulting from fire, grounding, or collisions.
What is the EPO relief process?

Coast Guard Regulations specifically require an administrative inspection to be conducted when the EO/EPO is relieved. Operation of all machinery shall also be conducted if possible during the relieving process to familiarize the relieving EO/EPO with the status of the items they will be held responsible for. A memo outlining the results of the inspection and trial is to be submitted to the CO/OIC.
