O : medial epicondyle
I : base of the 2nd and 3rd metatarsals
A: help to flex the wrist
Flexor carpi ulnaris
I: base of metacarpal and pisiform
A: superficial, abduction and flexion
Flexor digitorum superficialis
I: on the digits 2-5 of the middle phalanges
A: helps with flexion
Flexor digitorum profundus (deep muscle)
I: distal phalanges 2-5
A: helps with flexion, is deep and profound
Flexor pollicus longus (deep muscle)
I: distal phalanx to flex the thumb
A: deep, flexes the finger
Palmaris longus (only muscle not in carpal tunnel)
A: Tenses the skin and the fascia of the palm, is weak and not everyone has it
Extensor carpi radialis longus
A : Extends and abducts the wrist

Extensor carpi radialis brevis
A : short muscle, extends and adducts
Extensor carpi ulnaris
I: base of the 5th metacarpal
A: extends and adducts on the ulnar side
Extensor digitorum
I : distal phalanges of 2-5
A : extends the digits
Abductor pollicis longus (deep muscle
A: the deep long muscle that abducts the thumb
Extensor pollicis brevis and longus (deep muscles)
A : extends the thumb, the long and short work together
Extensor indicis (deep muscle)
Extends the index finger on the posterior side
Abductor pollicis brevis
A: abducts the pollex (thumb)
opponens pollicis
opposes the pollex
flexor pollicis brevis
flexes the pollex
abductor digiti minimi
abducts the little finger
flexor digiti minimi brevis
flexes the little finger
opponens digiti minimi
helps in opposition; brings metacarpal 5 toward the pollex
