What is continuous training?
Working your whole body for a long period of time. You want to be hitting your training threshold of 60-80% of your maximum heart rate.
What is fartlek training?
A continuous workout involving changes in speed.
What is circuit training?
A series of exercises, completed one after another for a certain amount of time or reps.
What is interval training?
Physical training involving alternating stages of high and low intensity activity.
What is plyometric training?
Exercises in which muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time.
What is weight training?
Shifting weight to increase the strength of the muscle using a programme of exercises.
