General rule
if you need to take meds - you are not fit to fly
meds not compatible for flying
antibiotics
asthma/antialergy
meds (blood pressure, etc)
tranquilisers (antidepressants)
stimulants (caffeine, etc)
anaesthetics
bone marrow & blood donation
after blood donation - wait 24hrs (feeling faint, hemoglobin resotoration)
after bone marrow - wait 48hrs( general aenthtetic )
intake of aspirin
can cause gastric bleeding

when taking non prescription drugs, who is responsible to asses whether a pilot is fit to fly…

Nasal spray used for cold relief has the common side effect of
nasal spray is an antihistamine, therefore it can cause drowsiness
Droplet of nasal spay is what size?
7 to 12 micrometeres.
they are small so that they can penetrate deep and traverse the airways properly
if they are big, they’d be at the front of airways whch gives a feeling of drowining
nasal spray does not cause
