What is Kikuchi-Fujimoto syndrome?
Histiocytic necrotising lymphadenitis is a benign condition presenting with lymphadenopathy, mild fever, and occasionally a rash or other systemic symptoms. Histiocytic necrotising lymphadenitis is also known as Kikuchi disease, Kikuchi–Fujimoto disease, and histiocytic necrotising lymphadenopathy.
Which lymph node enlargement is most worrisome?
Abdomen and lower neck
What is cervical lymphadenopathy indicative of?
Strep throat

What drugs cause lymph node enlargements?
Anticonvulsants like carbamazepine and phenytoin
What are B symptoms?
fevers > 38C - drenching night sweats - unexplained loss of more than 10% of body weight

Hodkins lymphoma
What are the features of superior vena cava syndrome?
headache upper thorax/arms congestion turgor of jugular veins dilated superficial chest vein (‘garland’-shape: early sign)
Tatoos can cause lymphadenopathy. T or F?
Tattooing adds stress on the lymphatic system because 90% of the dye goes into the lymph nodes and stays there. The swelling of lymphedema distorts the tattooed image. The resulting image may be very unsatisfactory.

Epitrochlear lymphadenopathy
