  • Release the bridge wing lifebuoy on the side of the casualty
  • Put wheel over to side of the casualty
  • Sound 3 prolongers blasts
  • Inform master
  • Activate MOB button on ECDIS
  • Post extra lookouts
  • Log ships position, wind speed and direction
  • Prepare the rescue boat
  • Prepare medical equipment
  • Send Urgency or distress msg as per masters instructions
