When is the only time you need a 100hr inspection on a SCAN test?
When it specifically states that it is a training flight with a rented aircraft

Only if you are required to have it (Mode C veil, in and above C,

1 hour before if it’s broken on the ground or not installed

must be placarded “ELT not installed” in view of pilot
weight and balance must be corrected
When is an annual inspection required?
every 12 calendar months
Does an airworthiness certificate expire?
No. As long as it is maintained in an airworthy condition.
Within how long does the airworthiness certificate need to
reflect the current tail number?
10 days
How long is a temporary aircraft registration certificate(pink) valid for?
90 days
Update Jan 23rd 2023: they expire upon receipt of the permanent registration

30 days after owner’s death (turn it into FAA 30 days after that)
