*Democratic- followers get input
*Laissez-faire - followers are left to solve problems themselves

*focus on the important activities
*minimize competing priorities to reduce stress and

when it is used in th problem solving process, everyone has a voice
Forming
employees at first uncertain in there roles in the group…they uncertain they can trust or work with other members…….as relationship grows trust and respect develop. members see themselves as a part of a group
Storming
conflict may result as members compete for a position of informal leadership or attempt to exert their personal influence over the group
Norming
group establishes and adheres to its own set of norms and values…members become closer and more cohesive
