Q

-непристойное behavior, or the fact of being непристойным

A

indecency
why you have the indecency to reserve all those tables just for three people ?

Indecent means improper or rude. But, the “indecent” action isn’t extremely offensive, it is just a little uncomfortable.
Ex: It is indecent to wear jeans to a wedding.
Ex: It is indecent to invite a guest to your home without offering tea.
Ex: It is indecent to wear short skirts to church.

Obscene is used when an action is very offensive, beyond uncomfortable.
Ex: The old woman was horrified at the man in the window, making obscene gestures.
Ex: He was fired from his job for making obscene comments.
Things that are considered obscene: giving someone “the finger” (putting up only your middle finger in the US means “f*$k you”), making unwanted sexual gestures at someone, showing someone your private parts unsolicited, etc…

Lewd is used when something is inappropriate (usually in a sexual way).
Ex: The bartender kicked him out because he kept making lewd comments to the ladies at the bar.
Ex: My grandmother won’t go into the cabaret. She says it’s too lewd.
