What is the treatment for an isolated superficial injury?

A
  • stop contact with heat source
  • cloacal cooking or burn (approx 15 mins under cool running water)
  • removed jewellery if possible
  • remove clothing around wound if possible
    -apply sterile dressing
  • seek medical treatment
