It started in India, but spread across Asia.
What did Siddhartha Guatama do?
He was born into a wealthy family, but rejected possessions and chooses to focus on the roots of suffering.
What was the major idea you see in the modern times?
Notion of non violence
What did Constantine do?
Similar to Asoka with Buddhism, Constantine made Christianity a legal religion in Rome.
What is the meaning of four noble truths?
A belief that all life is suffering and the solution is to end all desire.
Explain the Eight Fold Path
The eight fold path is an idea that you must follow 8 steps to self meditation.
By following the eight fold path, the person will achieve Nirvana.
What is Nirvana?
The state of perfect peace and harmony.
What is the difference between Buddhism and Hinduism?
Buddhist believe that you can achieve enlightenment in this lifetime and Hinduism believes that it takes many lifetimes to achieve peace with Brahma.
