Temperature : slightly higher than body temperature (38 degrees celsius)

Plasma rises to the top (55%)
Buffy coat in the middle - leukocytes (WBCs) and platelets (prevent blood clotting) (1%)
Erythrocytes sinks to the bottom - RBCs (45%)
