Complete flowers have all four flower parts. Incomplete do not.

Perfect flowers have both stamens and carpels. Imperfect flowers are missing either stamens or carpels.
If a plant produces both staminate and carpellate flowers, what is it called?
Monoecious
If a plant produces one type of flower (staminate or carpellate), what is it called?

Describe the development of the embryo sac.
The megasporocyte in the sporangium in each ovule grows and goes through meiosis to produce 4 haploid megaspores. Only one survives and divides by mitosis 3 times to form 8 haploid nuclei. Membranes partition the cytoplasm into an embryo sac.
