O: First sternebra

-adduct the limb when not weight bearing
-prevent the limb from being abducted when bearing weight
Superficial Pectoralis: Transverse O+I
O: First 2 or 3 sternum

Deep Pectoral O+I
O: Ventral sternum
(deep abdominal fascia at caudal sternum)
I: -lesser tubercule of humerus

-when limb advanced and fixed: pull trunk cranially
-limb not supporting weight: draw limb caudally and flex the shoulder joint
-adduct the limb

-draw neck and head to side

-advance the limb
-flex the neck laterally
