Using conque to express therefore/so Flashcards
conque
In colloquial Spanish, to introduce a sentence expressing a consequence.
It is quite common to find a verb in the imperative form to introduce an order.
Sometimes we use conque at the beginning of an interrogative or exclamative sentence expressing surprise; in this case, it simply means “So”:
You haven’t done your homework yet, so you should start now.
Todavía no has hecho los deberes, conque deberías empezar ya.
This year we sold lots of cars, therefore we will get a present from the boss.
Este año hemos vendido muchos coches, conque recibiremos un regalo del jefe.
