Antifibrinolytic medicine. It blocks the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin, reducing fibrinolysis (breakdown of blood clots) and bleeding.

  • Recent (<3 hours) traumatic injuries and COAST score 3 or >
  • Post-Partum Haemorrhage.
