10mg Tablet
H-1 receptor antagonist (Non-sedating anti-histamine), blocks peripheral histamine receptors, and reducing itchiness/redness

A
- Mild allergic reaction (rash) without evidence of anaphylaxis.

Contraindications of Loratadine?
A
- Known allergy
- Anaphylaxis.

- Severe liver impairment
- Increased risk of sedation and anticholinergic effects in older people.

- Drowsiness
- Fatigue

- Dry mouth.

Dosing Regimes of Loratadine?
A
- > 8years = 10mg PO, single dose avoiding further administration within 24hrs

- Onset = 15 minutes
- Duration = 4–6 hours
