NARRATE TVA PROCEDURE

A
  1. Proceed to Nominate TVA
  2. Re-check signal before moving off
  3. Sound horn before moving off and sound horn at any barrow crossing or if personnel is working on trackside
  4. On approach to TVA, ATC COMMS LAMP should illuminate

IF YOU STOP BETWEEN BERTHING ROAD AND TVA, YOU MUST DO ANOTHER VOBC RESET before moving off

  1. Stop at relevant docking board ensuring coupler head is on diamond of docking board and wait 10-15 seconds
  2. Press AUTO lamp and turn driving mode into AUTO at the same time until AUTO LAMP is gained
  3. Doors will be enabled, ADC is off, DOCKED LAMP is on
  4. Remove keys and select LOCAL
  5. Go to leading set of passenger doors and open both side
  6. Return to leading EDP and close doors both side
  7. Observe ADC lamp illuminate
  8. Once Train has ADC, series of beeps for entry checks (1 per vehicle)

13 . Once entry checks completed change radio channel to 1 and contact CCC

  1. Tell CCC of location, confirm whether successful entry checks
  2. CCC will confirm entry checks and any restrictions
  3. Repeat restrictions given by CCC and log in notebook
  4. When RTD received, check points, check points are FACING REVERSE and arrow is displayed on PPI
  5. When SAFE TO DO SO PRESS START AND REMAIN AT LEADING EDP UNTIL TRAIN HAS DOCKED AT FIRST STATION
