  1. If NO ADC, check PTI for visible obstructions
  2. If obstruction seen, place inhibit, walk to door, remove obstruction, notify Control and log
    2A. If no obstruction, inform control about ADC issue
  3. Control may ask to check all doors - walk along platform and press door push button in each door
  4. Monitor ODI on B92 and B2007
    - ON B92 PUSH BUTTON IS INACTIVE IF DOORS ARE NOT FULLY CLOSED
    - ON B2007 CHECK HMI FOR FAULTS
  5. If door fault, contact control, door isolation may be requested.
  6. Tell Control of location, run number, vehicle number, door numbers and nature of fault
  7. If no issues, close doors
  8. Control will ask you to check PERV/PERH at each door if ADC issue persists

  1. Report ADC loss to control with full details
  2. Make announcement to stand clear of doors and not lean on them
  3. Follow controller instructions and check all doors
  4. Apply INHIBIT AT DCP and walking through train pushing each door slightly open and allowing it to close
  5. Verify PERV/PERH status and observe ADC lamp after every door has opened and closed

(IF PERV/PERH HAS BEEN ACTIVATED FOLLOW CONTROLLER INSTRUCTIONS)

  1. Allow train to continue if ADC has been acquired
  2. Contact Control if set of doors has been found OPEN and follow instructions
    7A. Contact Control if doors are CLOSED but no ADC, follow instructions and update notebook

You can’t

  1. Isolate crew access doors
  2. Front and rear doors open at SDO stations
  3. Not more than 1 door per side of the carriage can be isolated
  4. Never isolate on the move
  5. Never isolate doors non-platform side

Narrate the door isolation procedure for a B92 that has doors stuck open

  1. Report faulty doors (Radio and Run number, location, vehicle number, door number both good and faulty and nature of fault —> request instruction + permission
  2. Update notebook
  3. Open nominated good doors and apply Inhibit
  4. Clear area of faulty door and open Header Panel with carriage key
  5. Operate DIC to vertical position
  6. Pull doors closed and ensured securely closed
  7. Operating locking block bar correctly
  8. Check to ensure doors are secured
  9. DIC back to horizontal
  10. Pull doors to check DIC reinstated correctly
  11. Notify Control, also update that push button light have extinguished
  12. Depart train from good set of doors
  13. Apply “doors not in use” stickers
  14. Update notebook

Narrate door isolation procedure for a set of stuck open doors for a B2007

A
  1. Report faulty doors (Radio and Run number, location, vehicle number, door number both good and faulty and nature of fault —> request instruction + permission
  2. Update notebook
  3. Open nominated good doors and apply Inhibit
  4. Clear area of faulty door and open Header Panel with carriage key
  5. Close affected doors until full shut - if door issue they will re-open
  6. With permission operate S6/EIS switch to Off position
  7. Pull doors together until full closed
  8. Operate locking bar with carriage key and observe halo lights extinguished at doors
  9. Carry out pull door check - max gap 50mm
  10. Close header panel and make your way to HMI to ensure fault has been recorded
  11. Notify control and give full details of isolation process
  12. Depart train from good set of doors
  13. Apply “door not in use” stickers on affected doors
  14. Update notebook

Control may ask you you carry out a reset first on that set of doors prior to isolation

  1. Apply inhibit at affected doors
  2. With permission from Control, operate S6 switch to off position after opening header panel with carriage key
  3. Wait 5 seconds
  4. Reset S6 switch back to ON
  5. Observe doors close automatically and close panel

  2. APPLY INHIBIT AT AFFECTED DOORS
  3. OPEN HEADER PANEL
  4. SWITCH EIS/S6 TO OFF POSITION
  5. WAIT 5 SECONDS
  6. SWITCH EIS/S6 TO ON POSITION
  7. STAND CLEAR OF THE CLOSING DOORS
  8. REPLACE HEADER PANEL CORRECTLY
  9. ADVISE CONTROL AND LOG
