transient ischemia attack
(TIA) - Define:
A
Decreased brain blood flow with significant neurological symptoms which recover within 24 hours, this phenomenon is called TIA (transient ischemia attack), if the symptom last longer than 24 hours, it’s called stroke
focal ischaemic neurologic deficits lasting <24 hours (it is usually <30 mins)
