Gi upset (Diarrhoea, weight loss,vomiting)

palpitations arrhythmias, angina

tremor, restlessness

A

Increase HR and metabolism

Careful with angina

In hypopituitarism start corticosteroids before initiating thyroxine to avoid addisonian crises

A

Increase dose when cytochrome p450 inducers are taken

Can increase insulin and glucose demand in DM

can enhance effects of warfarin

GI absorption is reduced by antacids, calcium, or iron salts. Take 4 hours apart
