What are the steps for using a light microscope

1) Carry microscope by the handle
2) Place it near a lamp or a window, and angle the mirror so light shine up through hole in the stage
3) Clip a slide ono the stage. The slide should have the object you want to look at it stuck to it.
4) Select the lowest power objective lens
5) Turn the rough focusing lens to move the objective lens down just above the slide
6) Look down the eyepiece lens and adjust the focus using fine focusing knob
7) Keep adjusting until you see a clear image of whatever’s on the slide
8) If you need to see the slide with greater magnification switch to a higher-powered objective lens
9) Now refocus the microscope
