Give the points for the carbon cycle

Answer 1

1) Photosynthesis removes carbon dioxide from the air.

Green plants and algae take in carbon dioxide
Make carbohydrate, fat and proteins

2) Carbon is passed along the food chain when animals feed.

Some of the carbon dioxide is passed when animals eat the plant and then when animals respire carbon is released

3) Respiration and combustion return carbon dioxide to the air

Plants and animals die decomposers feed on them and the animal waste. When decomposers respire carbon is released OR Dead plants and animal remains are buried and eventually form fossil fuels that are burnt and release carbon dioxide to the atmosphere
