tx of “dumping syndrome”
high protein diet; smaller, more frequent food portions
hot versus cold nodules on thyroid scan
hot - treat like benign hyperthyroidism
cold - do FNA
what is done after surgery for papillary or follicular thyroid cancer
radioactive iodine
serious adverse effect associated with kava kava
hepatoxicity and liver failure
adverse effect with Gingko
increased risk of bleeding
