Dx of Exclusion
- U/S to check for urinary obstruction
- sample peritoneal fluid to check for SBP
- give fluid bolus to make sure renal failure isn’t due to volume depletion
treatment for hepatorenal syndrome
midodrine or NE, octreotide, and albumin
head trauma with high risk features in child <2 yo
AMS, LOC, severe mechanism of injury, fall >3ft, non-frontal scalp hematoma, palpable skull fracture
head trauma with high risk features in child 2-18 yo
